Dick Shiefelbusch
Richard L. Schiefelbusch, a native Kansan, spent his career supporting persons with disabilities. He oversaw the estabishment of the speech and hearing clinic at the University of Kansas and helped develop the Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders.

Dr. Schiefelbusch is a world leader in speech-language pathology, language development and disorders, special education, and research in mental retardation. His efforts on behalf of people with communicative challenges have had a profound effect on the lives of persons with disabilities around the world.
