Research objectives: Studies relating to language in normal aging, aphasia, and dementia. Current studies include a treatment program for dementing patients in nursing homes, semantic memory in Alzheimer's disease, the ability of the environment to foster independence in stroke patients, and prospective memory in Alzheimer's disease.
