The Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic

A unique feature of our program is that undergraduate students are able to gain clinical experience in our Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. Our clinic serves people of all ages who have communication challenges. Services are provided in our on-campus facility as well as in various community settings. Students enrolled in clinical experiences are supervised by clinical faculty who maintain the Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Our clinic is known for our collaborative clinical teaching model (Kansas Teaming, Educating, And Mentoring or K-TEAM) that emphasizes the partnership between faculty, students, and clients.
