Courtney Summers

Courtney Summers is a Multi-Term Lecturer in the Speech-Language-Hearing Department and a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. Courtney has worked in a variety of clinical settings including early intervention, private practice, and pediatric outpatient hospitals. She currently teaches Introduction to Speech Pathology, Language Science, Communication in Autism, and a graduate course on Pediatric Speech Sound Disorders. Her primary interests include active learning practices, alternative grading, and designing authentic assignments. Courtney is a proud alumnus of KU's undergraduate and clinical doctoral programs.
